BookNotes for Africa is an occasional review journal (usually twice-yearly) offering one-paragraph evaluative reviews of recent Africa-related publications relevant for informed Christian reflection in and about Africa.

BookNotes for Africa has published reviews of more than 900 such titles relating to Africa. Titles are selected especially for potential interest to theological educators, libraries, researchers in Africa and overseas.

Reviews are provided by a team of contributors drawn from throughout Africa and overseas. Coverage is limited to titles published from 1986 onward, with emphases on those released in the past decade.
