BookNotes for Africa

This Index to the specialist review journal BookNotes for Africa is updated after the publication of each issue of the journal. Updates of this Index should normally be available within two months of publication of the latest issue. The Index is alphabetized by author.

BookNotes for Africa is an occasional journal (usually twice yearly) offering learned one-paragraph reviews of recent Africa-related publications relevant for informed Christian reflection in and about Africa. Titles are selected especially for potential interest to theological educators, libraries, and researchers in Africa and overseas.

BookNotes for Africa is jointly sponsored by four distinguished theological schools in Africa, namely:

  •  Theological College of Central Africa, Ndola, Zambia
  •  George Whitefield College, Cape Town, South Africa
  •  Moffat College of Bible, Kijabe, Kenya
  •  Jos ECWA Theological Seminary, Jos, Nigeria

Reviews are provided by a team of contributors drawn from throughout Africa and overseas. Coverage is usually limited to titles published since 1986, with emphases on those released in the past decade.

Subscription rates are based on a 4 issues cycle, and include airmail posting. The four-issue rate is US$8 to addresses within Africa; US$12 to addresses overseas. Send subscription orders to:
